Week 20 - Had a Covid Scare

I was just going about my routine monthly checkup (5th month) and the nurse who's seeing me - the clinic saves doctor's visits for the more severe cases/consultations - told me pointblank that she was covid positive just last week.

Imagine my shock then!

She complained that probably one of the "moms" at the clinic - P/S: The clinic I go to has a "mom and baby" department that's separate from the rest of the clinic (general population). - probably gave her the illness and that she was out with fever for 3 days.

I was getting increasingly worried at that point since I wasn't sure if she's Covid negative now - it's possible she isn't but because of staff shortages, she had to go back to work - and I'm just too polite to ask her outright.

However, on the brighter side, we were both wearing masks, were about 1m away from each other when we talked and she even had a face shield on (over her mask), so I reckoned my baby and I are probably as safe as it gets in that situation.

Didn't know there are/were active cases in my district until then either... and there I was naively thinking covid had spared our district >.<
